Kindergarten Music Program

Kindergartners have music twice a week for 30 min each. We explore melody, rhythm. form, expression, and improvisation through singing, dancing, and playing pitched and un-pitched musical instruments.  We also explore musical theater through their "Three Piggy Opera" performance in March 3, 2017 - 8:45 AM.

THE THREE PIGGY OPERA 

The kindergartners are getting ready for their special performance of the “Three Piggy Opera” on March 3, 2017 8:45 AM . Amphitheater will open at 8:30 AM.Performance begins at 8:45 AM. Please note, the performance is rather short, so please don’t be late!

DVDs of the performance will be for sale at the concert.  All proceeds benefit the music department. Please put check for $15/DVD in Mrs. D’Ambrosio’s office mail box –write K Musical in the Memo.

COLORS to wear:

Pigs= wear pink and/or white clothes

Wolves= brown/grey/blue clothes

Peddlers= green and/or yellow

(We have hats/aprons..etc..costumes also put on over the recommended colored clothes)

Exact class assignments will be randomly selected by mid-February and posted here.

Please have your Kindergarten read, sing, and memorize the songs on this page to be ready for the performance. (See below.)
