To guide the Woodside School’s strategic vision for the next five years, the school community completed a strategic planning process from January to June 2012. Following a comprehensive input process, school board and community comments, on June 5, 2012 the School Board approved the visions and five strategic goals for 2012-2017 to be implemented under the direction of the Superintendent in collaboration with school leadership, faculty, staff, parents and broader community.
The Woodside Elementary School Board has worked with school staff over the course of the 2016-17 school year to review the five year plan that is drawing to a close and identify areas for continued work. The board will hear a report from the Superintendent at their May 16th meeting regarding a plan for a phase two on the plan.With support from the School Site Council, two to three times each year, the Superintendent presents updates to the School Board to highlight accomplishments, monitor progress and, consider any adjustments.
