Ms. Cristiana Freed

Dear Woodside Families,

I’m thrilled to be joining the Wildcat family this school year as a para-educator! I hold a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, a Masters in Education and have ten years classroom teaching experience. I’ve taught in Oakland Unified, San Francisco Unified and in Menlo Park.

For the past nine years, I’ve been the on-call parent for our family. During that time I tutored individual students, worked as a consultant and curriculum writer and I’m currently working on a Masters Degree in Literacy and Reading. I love writing and creating curricula, but my heart is with the kids. Last year, I decided to step back into the classroom and start substitute teaching. I fell in love with Woodside school! The teachers, the students and the overall commitment to honoring each child inspires me.

In my spare time, I can be found reading, cooking, doing yoga or hiking with my husband and two sons and our enthusiastic rescue dog, Baci.

I’m delighted to be joining such a marvelous community!

Warm regards,
