Ms. Renee Taylor
I have been a paraeducator here at Woodside Elementary School since 2001. Assisting teachers and students with their needs. I am sincerely dedicated and compassionate about my job. I go above and beyond my duties to make sure all students’ needs are met. Even allowing for time after school as a crossing guard to ensure the safety of all students.
Before I began my career at Woodside Elementary, I worked in the physical education department at Laurel Elementary and paraeducator at Abbott Middle School. I also coached volleyball for Immaculate Heart of Mary (IHM) Catholic school, and continued to coach as a pastime for several years. I played volleyball myself, on an adult league for over twenty years.
I am also very passionate about Massage Therapy. Currently, I work part-time at a boutique day spa. I have been a massage therapist for 18 years and enjoy helping my clients understand what is ailing them. She is trained in sports injury, Swedish and deep tissue massage.
I enjoy being outdoors, gardening at my home and hanging with my family. My personal life is surrounded with love. I met the love of my life, Don Taylor when I was 15 years old and married in 1975. Going on 43 years still happily married, we thrived a small business together for over 25 years and had two wonderful children Alicia (35) and Jason (28).
