Mrs. Debbie Faleschini
This is my 13th year teaching elementary school and the my 4th year at Woodside. I taught 2nd through 6th grade in the Oak Grove School District for 7 years and in the San Mateo-Foster City School District for 2 years. Teaching is my passion. I enjoy building close relationships with children to maximize learning, presenting different ways to solve a problem for multiple intelligences, and creating a fun learning environment that motives children to learn. I have a Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis on literacy across the curriculum. Building a student's ability to communicate through the written word is valuable in all aspects of life, and I enjoy helping children reach his/her writing potential. I am a lifelong learner with the mission to instill this desire in others. I teach with the philosophy that "No one is as smart as all of us are together" and it is all of our responsibility to be part of the learning process.
While I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two daughters.
