I started working at Woodside Elementary School in 1994. In the beginning I worked as an aide. My four kids were quite young and my working as an aide fit with my life as a mom. As my kids got older and I gained more experience I worked as a part-time science teacher and a part-time math teacher. I started teaching fifth grade full time about 17 years ago and then moved to the middle school about 8 years ago. I am very fortunate to be one of those people who has had the opportunity to do interesting and exciting work that I love.
