All Dances are from 7:00 - 9:30 p.m. in Sellman Pavilion
The Woodside School Student Council sponsors three Middle School dances each school year. Each dance is tied to a specific theme, and they are chaperoned by an administrator, teachers, and parents. The school dress code is strictly enforced, and all students who attend are expected to follow school rules. In addition, the doors close at 7:15 p.m., and all dance participants are expected to arrive no later than 7:15 p.m. Students who arrive after 7:15 p.m. will not be allowed into the dance. Finally, all student participants are expected to remain at the dance until its completion at 9:30 p.m.
The first Middle School dance of the school year is open to 7th and 8th grade Woodside students and guests. 6th grade students are not allowed to participate in the first Middle School dance; however, they are allowed to attend the February and May dances.
All student participants must complete a dance registration form that requires parent contact information and a parent signature. Woodside students only need to fill out one dance registration form for the entire school year. Guests, however, must complete a dance registration form for each dance.
