Got talent? Well, here is your chance to show your fellow students and parents your abilities! Each February, all 5th-8th grade students are invited to participate in the school's annual Talent Show. Hosted in Sellman Pavilion by the Student Council, students share their special talents including dancing, singing, playing an instrument, telling jokes, riding a unicycle, juggling, or sharing a poem or art project. In addition to the live acts, students can participate in an art gallery presentation before the start of the show.
If you are a 5th-8th grade student and would like to participate in the talent show (individually or as part of a group), you must sign up and return the completed forms to the office. The sign-up forms will be distributed to all 5th – 8th grade students in November (see above link).
Your act must be less than four minutes long and adhere to the WES rules, behavior policy, and dress code. Once you sign up, come to the rehearsals in Room 37 after school in December. If you wish to participate in the talent show, you must attend the rehearsals.
Students, parents, and staff who wish to watch the talent show must purchase tickets in advance in the office or at drop off beginning in late January. The price of admission is $5 per ticket, and all proceeds benefit the Woodside School Student Council. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Frank or Dr. Kara D'Ambrosio. We can’t wait to see the wonderful acts! Have fun!
