Are you having trouble understanding the difference between vaping, dabbing, and ‘juuling’? Not sure how to address cannabis use with your adolescent now that it is legal? Dr. Danielle Ramo will discuss the complicated landscape of teen cannabis, vaping, and other substance use. She will review the current products available, trends in use, and how recent policies, such as cannabis legislation, have affected teen use. She will also share evidence on the effect of substance use on the adolescent brain and behavior and note unique aspects of teen use compared to adult use. Finally, Dr. Ramo will put forth realistic and innovative strategies for dealing with teen substance use in an increasingly daunting social and political climate.
