Woodside High School presents Leonard Bernstein’s vibrant 1940’s musical, ON THE TOWN. Highly recommended for WES families, especially 8th graders to get a taste of musical theater "on the big stage", performed by 9 recent WES grads. Sophia Ashworth, Christian Canellos, & Stefan Sujansky play leads, with Alek Amini-Holmes, Keya Gupta, Nick Hovsmith, Vianne Nickel, Thibault Rappaport, & Markus Sujansky in supporting roles.

Bursting with energy, ON THE TOWN is revered as an American classic: the story of 3 sailors on shore leave in New York City before shipping off to World War II. Humorous, romantic, and action packed, the show’s message resonates: “seize the day”, and live life to the fullest, with every hour available.

This production will delight audiences with its talented cast of 50+ students, a full live orchestra of 21 musicians, and period costumes & sets that transport you to 1940's Manhattan & Coney Island. Tickets for WHS musicals often sell out; get yours while they're still available.
