San Mateo Countyget tested
The County of San Mateo now offers no-cost testing for COVID-19 to residents and children age 5 and over. The testing offered is a simple-to-use oral mouth swab test that is self-administered for children and families in partnership with Curative Inc., a rapid diagnostics firm based in Southern California. Curative has the capacity to test over 500 individuals each day at the San Mateo Event Center with results available typically within 48 hours. Please refer to the County of San Mateo’s website for more information and to learn how to sign up for a free test online.

Stanford Hospital
Stanford Hospital is offering COVID-19 testing to all current Stanford Health Care patients and the public. Please visit Stanford’s COVID-19 Testing page for more information on how to make an appointment. 
 
CVS Pharmacy
CVS Pharmacy has free COVID-19 testing available at more than 4,100 locations. There is zero out-of-pocket cost with insurance or federal programs for the uninsured. Please visit the CVS COVID-19 Testing page for more information on how to make an appointment. 
 
WESD is continuing to investigate the possibility of student testing on the Woodside campus, but for the immediate future, taking advantage of this free, nearby option for student testing is something that is highly encouraged for all WESD students.

For WESD parents and family members — For more information about scheduling appointments for COVID-19 vaccination in San Mateo County, please review this current list of available pathways.
  • Kaiser Permanente is vaccinating all school workers across the Bay Area. If you are a Kaiser member, please read this letter from Kaiser Permanente and register online
  • Other health care providers are also offering vaccinations, including Sutter Health (PAMF). Be sure to check with your health provider.
  • Stanford Health Care is offering vaccines to those at risk of exposure through their work in education and childcare. Visit their website or call 650-498-9000 to make an appointment.
  • * Register for notifications from San Mateo County Health, which will contact you if they have openings at one of their clinics.
  • * Register at the State’s vaccination site, MyTurn, and continue to check for vaccination opportunities
  • * Some CVS and Rite Aid Pharmacies in San Mateo County are now offering the COVID-19 vaccine by appointment only. Visit company websites for information on how to schedule an appointment.
