The Woodside Administration team is in the preliminary stages of securing regular COVID testing for the Woodside School community.  At Woodside School, we seek to maintain a safe environment for employees, students, families, and the community. To support those goals, we are actively working to set up a free weekly COVID testing program for all students and staff members.
Each week, students will have the opportunity to take a PCR test during the school day. We are requesting each family to participate in this program to help safeguard the well-being of our entire school community, by increasing health and safety surveillance of students and staff members. Prior to the start of testing, a consent form will be sent out for all families to sign. We will only be able to provide testing to students for whom we have consent, and the company that we use will provide an easy system for you to check your child’s test results weekly. We are sending out this notice now so that families can discuss this testing option and the preferences that best meet their needs. Our goal is to have the testing program up and running within the next 2-3 weeks. Please lookout for an upcoming email containing more detailed information about the testing process and company and the aforementioned consent forms.
