Annual Pumpkin Carving Contest
The Annual Pumpkin Carving Contest is back and happening on October 31st! This year, we've changed up the categories, have local celebrity judges and can't wait to see what you bring in!
ALL School Pumpkin Painting Party
Get ready for the 2nd annual ALL School Pumpkin Painting party! The entire student body will be painting pumpkins with buddies during the school day to be displayed at the WES Halloween parade. Students will be able to collect and take home their painted pumpkins just in time to decorate their front porches for Halloween night! We need your help supplying pumpkins and art supplies, as well as many parent volunteers — sign up HERE to help!
Halloween Events & ParadeOur annual Halloween parade will start at approximately 1:20 pm on Monday, October 31, followed by a Sing-A-Long at the amphitheater! Please join us for this special event! We ask that family members view the parade from the artificial turf field. You are invited to stay for the sing-a-long as well; however, the benches are reserved for students.
Students may wear their costumes in the parade but costumes should NOT be worn to school — they will have time to change before the parade. Your child’s teacher will be in contact with you about this process. Costumes should not include anything resembling a weapon. The approximate schedule is as follows:
- 1:20pm: Parade Begins
- 1:45pm: Sing-A-Long
- 2:15pm: Students Return to Class for Halloween Celebrations
- 2:30pm: Kindergarten Pick Up
- 3:10pm: Grades 1-8 Pick Up
