FOR ON-CAMPUS TEACHERS (see suggestions for Virtual Learning Teachers below)
Monday, May 3rd through Friday, May 7th
We want to let our teachers and staff know how much we appreciate them so we have a full week of events planned for them. For students and parents, please plan to bring in flowers, cards, and/or pre-packaged treats (see specifics below) for them on Wed., May 5th. Don't forget the specialists and our new long-term subs!
Tuesday- Friday: Complimentary staff coffees/teas at The Village Hub
Sponsored by Woodside School Parents — sign-up HERE.
Wednesday, May 5: Gift Drop-Off Day
Drop Off Locations:
(1) Classroom: If a student has a gift for their teacher and/or para in the class, they are to bring it directly to the classroom.
(2) Table in Woodside Public Library Parking Lot: If a student or parent has a gift or flowers to give to any staff member who does not have a classroom or individual office, parents are to drive across the street to the Woodside Public Library and drop off the gift at the PTA table. Vaccinated volunteers will be stationed at the table at the library steps to receive the gifts (parents do NOT need to get out of the car - it is a drive-thru operation)
Gift Item Guidelines:
Students and parents can drop off flowers, pre-packaged treats (anything store-bought and individually wrapped, please no home-baked goods), and/or gifts.
This week is Teacher's Appreciation Week, and we would love to shower Ms. Naylor and Ms. Lighty with some love, as we are doing for our in-person teachers. We have some suggestions below. Participation is totally optional. Please let us know if you have any questions.
