Fall 2021 — Fri., Nov. 5 
Winter 2022 — Fri., Feb. 11 (Valentine's Day theme)
Spring 2022 — Fri., May 20 ("Spring Fling" theme)
All Dances are from 7:00 - 9:30 p.m. in Sellman Pavilion

The Woodside School Student Council sponsors three Upper School dances each school year. Each dance is tied to a specific theme, and they are chaperoned by an administrator, teachers, and parents. The school dress code is strictly enforced, and all students who attend are expected to follow school rules. In addition, the doors close at 7:15pm, and all dance participants are expected to arrive no later than 7:15pm Students who arrive after 7:15pm will not be allowed into the dance. Finally, all student participants are expected to remain at the dance until its' completion at 9:30pm 

All student participants must complete a dance registration form that requires parent contact information and a parent signature. Woodside students only need to fill out one dance registration form for the entire school year. For more specific information, please refer to the dance registration forms below.
 

Spring 2022 Dance — "Spring Fling"

Friday, May 20
7:00-9:30pm • Sellman •  $15 per student
Theme: Spring Fling

 
We are excited to announce that the Woodside School Student Council is sponsoring a "Spring Fling" dance on the Woodside School campus on Friday, May 20 from 7:00pm–9:30pm in Sellman.
 
The dance will be held indoors, and at this time it is scheduled for the Community Gym. The location may change to Sellman, and we will notify all students if the location does change. All 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students may attend. While masks are optional, as per the CDPH, masks are strongly recommended indoors.
 
As a reminder admission is $15 per student and the money will be collected at the door (cash or check only). There will be free savory snacks available for students, courtesy of the Student Council.
 
All Woodside School students must follow the Woodside School dress code and behavior policy. Any student who does not follow these rules will be turned away on the night of the dance. In addition, students must enter the dance no later than 7:15pm and must remain at the dance until it ends (9:30pm).
 
Please only complete the permission form if you have yet to turn one in this year. Dance permission forms for Woodside students should be returned to the office no later than 3:10 p.m. on Friday, May 20th. Students who fail to meet this deadline will not be allowed to attend the dance.

Friday, February 11
Theme: Valentine's Day
7:00-9:30pm • OUTDOORS •  $15 per student

We are excited to announce that the Woodside School Student Council is sponsoring an outdoor dance on the Woodside School campus on Friday, February 11 from 7:00pm –9:30pm.  Students are encouraged to dress for the outdoor weather.

All 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Woodside Upper School students are allowed to attend. Admission to the dance is $15, and the money will be collected at the door (cash only).
 
All Woodside School students (sorry no guests are allowed at this time) must follow the Woodside School dress code and behavior policy.  Any student who does not follow these rules will be turned away on the night of the dance. In addition, students must enter the dance no later than 7:15 pm and must remain at the dance until it ends (9:30pm).

All Woodside students must fill out a permission form (or above) in order to attend the dance.  Students only need to turn in one dance permission form for the entire school year. Dance permission forms for Woodside students should be returned to the office no later than 3:10 p.m. on Friday, February 11th. Students who fail to meet this deadline will not be allowed to attend the dance. Please note that masks will be required for this dance, and the hope is that our final dance will be able to be indoors.
