It's finally happening! The book fair is Monday through Friday of next week! The fair is hosted by the PTA and Mrs. Lacrosse, supported by parent volunteers, and has historically raised significant funds for our school library programming. It's my favorite event of the year! We will have a large selection, ranging from picture books to Young Adult, and even a few books for adult readers, as well. It is the most fun week. Really, there are few things sweeter, or more entertaining, than a horde of book-hungry children descending upon the school library. I promise. We hope to see you all there!

 

The book fair is open everyday before school (8am), during recess and lunch, and after school (until 3:30pm). Exceptions: The fair will not be open after school Wednesday and on Friday the fair CLOSES AFTER MORNING RECESS.

 

Family Night is on Wednesday, December 13, from 6-7:30pm. We will announce the winners of the Read-a-Thon and have some fun surprise readers. It's a great chance to socialize, and provides some book fair time for those who can't make it during the day. 

 

If you would like to purchase a gift card for your child so that they may shop, you can do so here. PLEASE NOTE: If you are purchasing for more than one child, we kindly request that you purchase a separate gift card for each child. Please be mindful that the gift card may take a couple of hours to reflect in our system, so if you purchase one in the morning, it may not be available for your child to use in time for recess or lunch. To be safe, you may want to print a paper copy of the gift card for your child to take with them to the fair.
