Securities Donations

Donating Securities to the Woodside School Foundation

In order to simplify the direct transfer of securities, general instructions are listed below:

1) Notify the WSF Office, in a letter or email, stating the name and number of securities you intend to donate to the Woodside School Foundation. Email your letter to wsf@woodsideschool.us or mail it to the Woodside School Foundation, 3195 Woodside Road, Woodside, CA 94062. The Foundation must receive a letter from the donor for accounting/tax purposes.

2) Request that your broker deliver the Direct Transfer Certificate (DTC)-Eligible Securities to the Woodside School Foundation's Charles Schwab brokerage account:

3) The Charles Schwab broker will sell the securities immediately upon receipt.

4) The WSF will send confirmation of receipt of the number of shares transferred and the date it was received into our account.
