5th, 6th, 7th, & 8th Grade Spanish

I am a native to Southern California but have lived and taught in the Bay Area for many years.  I went to the University of the Pacific where I majored in Spanish and minored in Business Administration. I earned my Credential and Masters of Education from San Francisco State. While at UOP I spent a year studying in Sevilla, Spain which just solidified my love of the Spanish language. After graduating, I then moved to Costa Rica where I taught English in a tiny elementary school located among a number of coffee farms for a year through a program called World Teach. During that adventure, I discovered my love of teaching.

When I returned to the US I moved to the Bay Area to begin my Spanish teaching career. Over the span of my career, I have taught Spanish to elementary, middle and high schoolers on the Peninsula.

When I am not teaching, I love spending time with my family. I enjoy exploring new hiking trails, riding bikes, playing at the beach, and watching my kids play sports. I also enjoy running and embarking on new adventures.

I feel like I have found a gem in Woodside School. The school is beautiful, but more importantly, the parent community is extremely supportive, the faculty is outstanding, and the students are awesome. I know this year is going to be great!
