As a member of the Woodside community, we would like to invite you to join our growing Community Partner program run by the Woodside School Foundation (WSF). Through this initiative, your establishment will have the opportunity to join other local businesses in support of quality education at Woodside Elementary School (WES). We work hard to ensure educational excellence but we wouldn’t be able to accomplish our goals without strong local support. Community Partners will receive recognition in a variety of ways, depending on the level of support—from acknowledgment in the Almanac to special real-time promotional opportunities during the Grand Auction as well as traditional advertising space in the auction catalog.
Local businesses support our school and, in return, our families frequent local businesses. And we need your help. Simply put, without private sector funding, our school would not be able to offer a well-rounded education. We would be forced to cut things like music, art, technology, language arts, and small classroom sizes. The success of our fundraising efforts rests not only on the generosity of our parents and teachers, but on the greater community and local businesses.

Community Partner decal to proudly display in stores and windows
“Thank you from WSF” ad in the Almanac
in the WES school‐wide directory and thank you flyer in the electronic
weekly Bulletin that is distributed to approximately 350 WES households
in the online auction, and in the auction’s printed catalog, which is
distributed to approximately 350 WES households and community members
Acknowledgment in the foundation’s annual report and a listing and link to your business on the WSF website
Advertising IN auction tent on auction night, where approximately 300 people are in attendance (for Gold level and above)
Promotion on WES Campus banner signage centrally placed on campus in two locations (for Gold level and above)
Tickets to Grand Auction (at Platinum level and above)
advertising on Grand Auction Bid Paddles—only two spots available for
approx. 150+ paddles each (at Premium level only)
The Woodside School Foundation is a nonprofit organization comprised of parent volunteers and representatives from the school administration. Our mission is to ensure continued excellence in the academic, social, and cultural environment at Woodside School by providing a dependable flow of supplementary funds. Today the Foundation raises approximately one quarter of Woodside School’s total budget, primarily through its two annual fundraising programs: the Annual Fund and the Grand Auction. This year, the WSF must raise $4,800 per student to bridge the gap between state funding and the cost of today’s education.
