2026 Flag Football Information
(Grades 6-8)

Flag Football is the first sport of the school year for 6th-8th graders. Teams practice on the WES turf field on their designated practice days, starting the week of August 24.
REGISTRATION & FEES:
Please consider a voluntary donation of $180 to support our volleyball/football program, plus the $30 fee for a jersey. Donations can be made via PayPal HERE (QR code below) or by check made out to Woodside School District and dropped off at the school office. A receipt for the donation payment is available upon request. Thank you.PRACTICE (starts week of August 24) & GAME SCHEDULE (TBD):
- Practices: Mondays; 3:30-5:00pm & Wednesdays 3:30-5:00pm
- Games: TBD
- Coaches: James Rozzi; Bill Marr; Ryan Huss
7th Grade:
- Practices: Fridays 3:15-5:00pm (end time TBD)
- Games: TBD
- Coaches: Kyle Matter; Jon Irrizary, Will Brown; Judd Weiss
8th Grade:
- Practices: Tuesdays @ 3:30-4:30pm & Fridays @ 3:30-4:30PM
- Games: TBD
- Coaches: Peter Bailey, Ravi Gupta, Park Durrett
EQUIPMENT:
- All players are required to have a jersey and a mouthguard.
- Cleats are not mandatory but recommended.
- Please indicate the size of your jersey on your registration form.
PLEASE NOTE: If your child is not feeling well, they should not attend practice or games. If a student has been absent from school, they MUST NOT participate in practice or games that day. Following an illness, students must follow all school guidelines about returning to school (and after-school sports).
