Arts Around the World
Friday, April 21 in Sellman @ 11am 
(Grades 1-3 Music Concert)

We are excited to be producing a fantastic around the world music, art, dance, P.E., and library (stories) performance at 11am on  Friday April 21 in Sellman. The concert will feature our 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade students with guest artists who have been workshopping world music arts and stories with them all week. We look forward to seeing you there!
 
We have in residency Pitz Quattrone - Didgeridoo Adventurer (for TK-5th experiences!!)
There is only one Pitz Quattrone. Innovative player, builder, and inspiring teacher of the ancient native Australian instrument, the Didgeridoo. Since the early 1990s, Pitz has been honing his chops and credentials and has become the 'go-to guy' for the Didgeridoo. He has brought the healthy pleasures of Didge playing to thousands of kids and adults worldwide. Pitz writes songs from tragic to comic, is a dynamic frontman, and endears audiences with his diverse musical performances. Pitz Quattrone is truly one of a kind. pitzquattrone.com

Arts Around The World
Week of April 17-21
We are thrilled to announce an elementary school collaborative project of the arts, involving music, library, PE and art classes, designed by Dr. D’Ambrosio, Mrs. LaCrosse, Mrs. Jones, and Ms. Harmon.  The week of April 17-21 will offer a week-long celebration, featuring cross-collaboration among various departments, including:
  • Music - Songs from various countries
  • P.E. - Folk dances from various countries   
  • Library - Read Around the World, including folktales from across the globe 
  • Art - Aboriginal art from an Australian folktale and decorating didgeridoo instruments/making mouthpieces with bee’s wax.
