Woodside School District

Hello! This is Ms. A.
Born and raised in Japan, a mom of two cats and two boys, living in San Francisco. Before teaching music, I was engaged in various occupations, such as an architectural consultant, theater crew, building permit tech, and daycare owner.  Then as a proactive school parent volunteer, I founded an after-school program to teach Japanese language, songs and cultural activities, as a PTA fundraiser.  In time, I became a substitute teacher.  Then ultimately, I morphed into a music teacher/musician.  My primary instrument is the violin. But mostly as a musician, I sing and play the ukulele in my neighborhood venues in recent years.

I am very excited about getting to know Woodside students. Woodside is one of the most beautiful towns I have ever been!  I am looking forward to learning and growing with the community.
