From the Author, Illustrator & PoetWarm Bread
We are excited to announce that on November 19th at 2pm, we will be holding an assembly for all 5th-8th graders. The authors and illustrator of the book, It Rained Warm Bread, have graciously agreed to come to talk to our students about the writing process and the heartfelt story behind their book. Author Gloria Moskowitz-Sweet will be sharing the story of her father, a Holocaust survivor, and sharing his incredible journey of hope. The illustrator, Lea Lyon, and accompanying poet, Hope Anita Smith, will be discussing what it takes to write a book and the collaborative writing process.

Purchase The Book

The owner has set aside copies of the book for our families. Please bring a check payable to "Reach & Teach" for $15 to the main office during school hours, and we will provide you with a copy.
