I am thrilled to take a permanent position at Woodside School after working as a nearly full-time substitute here for the past few years! While primarily serving general Lower School & Preschool classrooms, I began to gravitate towards working as a substitute para-educator in Special Education. My skills and affinity for this area were fueled by my academic and professional background, being a mother, and learning from the incredible teachers and staff around me.
After obtaining a bachelor's degree in psychology followed by a master's, I worked as a coordinator for various adult and pediatric health research projects. Originally from Texas, my husband and I had moved around frequently, living both nationally and internationally, before settling down in the Bay Area in 2016 when our oldest daughter started Kindergarten. And now she's thrilled to be an 8th-grader here at Woodside School!
