I am excited for another year at Woodside. My professional experience has given me the privilege to work with students and families from preschool to high school in a variety of roles at the classroom, school, and district levels. While I consider myself a lifelong learner, my undergraduate and graduate education was completed at the University of Hawaii and Cal State East Bay. I hold a Special Education Teaching Credential and a California Administrator Credential.
As a resource specialist, I ensure all students with varying abilities are provided the same learning opportunities as their peers. Things will be hard at times. Cultivating positive relationships with students creates a safe space to meet the challenges head-on. Through individualized support, students are given the tools they need to be successful learners and active participants in the classroom, across the school, and in their community.
When I am not at work, you can find me spending time with my family. My boys enjoy exploring the Bay Area. We are open to recommendations for the next adventure spot. They have yet to meet water, animals, or dirt that they didn’t like.
