This is my 20th year at Woodside Elementary School. It’s been an amazing experience and this year looks to continue in that tradition.

I grew up in Miami and have 6 siblings – 5 brothers and 1 sister. We grew up an active and rambunctious bunch. My mother was a former 1st grade teacher. I feel parents are always the first and best teachers.

My teaching experience started overseas. I taught English in South Korea, Saudi Arabia, and India. Traveling and teaching was a great experience but nothing compares to having your own class and getting to know the families in our community.
