Welcome to Transitional Kindergarten at Woodside Elementary School.  TK is such an exciting year as students begin their educational journey at this wonderful school.  I am so blessed to be able to teach at Woodside Elementary.  A place where I can watch our youngest students learn, grow, laugh and play with each other every day.  Some of our most interesting conversations during the course of the year are the age-old debates as to “What does the Tooth Fairy do with all those teeth?” and “What did those pesky Leprechauns do to our classroom!”

I come from a long line of teachers and feel I was almost predestined for this job. My Great-Grandmother, Grandmother, Aunt, Mother, and Father were all teachers. Once I graduated from Long Beach State, I headed north to work in the Bay Area.

I have been able to teach Kindergarten and Transitional Kindergarten here at Woodside since 2004.  Before working at Woodside Elementary, I was a kindergarten teacher in the Ross Valley School District in Marin County for four years.

I live in San Carlos with my family and all of our lively pets.  My husband Alex is a research scientist in Redwood City, and we have two beautiful children.

I am very honored to be part of such an amazing, collaborative team of teachers at Woodside School. The students are able to work with each one of us and learn from all of the special talents we each bring to the team.
