2025-26 TK Dismissal Timing

From Thursday August 21, until Friday, November 21, all TK students will be dismissed at 1:00 pm. During the second and third trimesters, a 2:30 pm full-day will be an option. The school offers after school daycare options. Please see our school website for more information and to sign-up. Daycare providers will pick TK students up in the classroom at dismissal time.

All incoming TK students and their families are invited to attend
the Meet & Greet in their (new) TK classrooms (Rm. 18 & 19)
on Tuesday, August 19th from 2:00 - 3:00pm

Transitional Kindergarten (TK) at Woodside Elementary School is committed to maintaining students’ natural curiosity and confidence in themselves as learners while developing the student behaviors that will enable them to become active and focused learners in a classroom setting.  Social-emotional learning is the foundational component of the transitional kindergarten year and will continue to be built upon as students progress through the grade levels.
