President - Coordinate the work of officers and committees of the association in order that the purposes may be promoted. Preside at all meetings of the association and the executive board. Appoint the corresponding secretary, the parliamentarian, the chairmen and members of committees, subject to ratification of the executive board. Prepare the list of association officers and chairmen required for directory data and submit to district. Sign all authorizations for payment as required by the executive board. Be responsible for preparing the annual report (with assistance from Historian). Perform such other duties as may be prescribed in these bylaws or assigned by the association.

Vice President - Serve as the primary aide to the president. Perform the duties of the president in the absence or disability of that officer to act. Perform other duties as may be prescribed in these bylaws or assigned by the association.

VP Community Events - Manages, schedules and organizes volunteers for the school events including Halloween, hospitality teacher lunches, holiday programs and other events.


VP Room Parents - Manages the recruitment of room parent volunteers and maintains the weekly room parent communications. Directs room parents on the duties and budget for each classroom.

VP Student Programs - Manages the after school enrichment program from contacting and scheduling the classes and working with the vendors. Fall and Spring programs.

Financial Secretary - Give a receipt for monies receive for the association and deposit immediately in a bank approved by the executive board and give a copy of the deposit slip to the treasurer. Keep accurate record of all receipts for filing with the treasurer’s financial records for the association.  Make an annual report to the association.

Treasurer - Keep such permanent books of account and records as shall be sufficient to establish the items of gross income, receipts and disbursements of the association.  Such books of account and records shall at all reasonable times be open to inspection by the authorized rep of the California PTA.
