2021 Halloween Parade
This Friday, October 29th, Woodside School will host a Halloween Parade for all our students. At this time, we will not be able to invite families on campus, but a link to a live stream of all the festivities will be communicated to all families on Thursday! Please find important logistics around costume-wearing and Halloween events below:
  • Activities: Students will be able to partake in a variety of Halloween festivities on Friday, October 29h. One of those events will take place during 5th period when we will have a whole-school Door Decorating Gallery Walk (Halloween-themed, of course!). Pictures of each class' door will be posted in next week's Wildcat Weekly.
  • Costumes: All students who wish to dress up for Halloween at school will need to bring their costumes to school (please do not dress in costume prior to school starting). We will have students wear their regular school attire in the morning, and direct them to change after they eat lunch on Friday. At 1:00 p.m. students will be able to line up for the parade and walk the route to the amphitheater where we will meet with Dr. D who will lead us through a fun school wide song and dance (socially distanced and masked). Please be sure that your child only brings their costume to change into and leaves accessories at home, especially anything that resembles weaponry.
  • We will have a normal dismissal on Friday, October 29th.
If you have any questions, please reach out to Principal Bowdoin or Principal Pedersen.
