EMAIL

Ms.Dameron has been teaching since 2004 and has been teaching at Woodside Elementary since 2007.  Ms. Dameron teaches: 3rd grade recorder, 4th grade recorder & ukulele, 5th grade beginning band, 6th grade beginning band, Middle School (6th-8th) elective band, 7th grade guitar, 8th grade "found" percussion and zero period (6th-8th) jazz band.  She enjoys having students over the course of many years and getting to know them as they grow as musicians and evolve as humans.

Philosophy
Ms. Dameron believes that Music is an essential part of being human. Her primary goal in all of her classes is to help students grow as citizens of the world using music as a cooperative and expressive tool toward that growth. Teaching SEL classes has only strengthened her ability to connect to students in and outside of the classroom.

Outside of School
Outside of school, music is still an integral part of life. Beth enjoys finding opportunities to support and listen to live music of a variety of genres and sharing those experiences with family and friends. But mostly, she enjoys spending time with her two daughters who also attend Woodside School! In their free time, they make it a priority to be outside, on hikes, or at the beach and enjoy what the bay area has to offer.
