Players will be provided a T-shirt on the first day
PRACTICES: Begin the week of January 12 and end in early March. Boys will practice on Mondays and girls on Thursdays in Sellman.
COACHES: Ms. Jones will be at all practices while the upper school student coaches will help guide the players through drills and scrimmages.

The 3rd boys, 4th girls and 5th boys team sign ups are at capacity;
any additional registrants will be placed on the wait list.

Action Required: Winter Sports Interest & Coaching Opportunities (Grades 3-8)
Dear Woodside Families (Grades 1-8),
While it seems like we just started school, it’s time to start looking ahead to our Winter afterschool sports program! To ensure we have enough teams and coaches secured for our student-athletes, we are collecting INTEREST FORMS now for all students who are in 1st-8th grade. Player registration will happen in late October.
Season Details 1st and 2nd grade:
- Practices: Once a week in Sellman at Woodside School. The session is a combination of skill development and game play. Led by Mrs. Jones and middle school coaches.
Season Details 3rd-8th grade:
- Practices: Once or twice a week at the Woodside School.
- Games: Once a week at the Arrillaga Gym in Menlo Park.
- 3rd and 4th grade on Saturdays,
- 5th-8th grade various days during the week.
We Need You! (Coaching Volunteers) Our program’s success depends entirely on our parent volunteers. We are looking to fill all coaching positions with parents from our community. Please note that we cannot officially form a team unless we have a coach secured. If you have any interest in coaching (no professional experience required!), please indicate so in the form below.
Knowing our numbers now allows us to nail down gym space and coaching rosters so we are ready to hit the ground running in November. Thank you for your continued support of Woodside sports!
