First and second graders will continue to have the opportunity to participate in our Woodside After school program. They will play once a week in Sellman and will be coached by Ms. Jones and middle school students. At each session, they will learn basketball fundamentals and participate in scrimmages. A T-shirt will be included in the registration fee for each player.
Scholarships are available for all players.

For anyone interested in playing basketball this season for 3rd-5th graders, there will be a shift in the program. We will be joining the Menlo Park Recreation League this year (this is the same league our 6th-8th graders play in). This means that all games will be held at Arrillaga Gym in Menlo Park. 5th grade girls are scheduled to play on Thursdays, and all others on Saturdays. We are making this shift due to a reduced number of teams in our traditional Woodside/Portola Valley League.
Menlo Park has strict registration deadlines and it is essential that if your child is interested that they sign up within the Oct. 24-Nov. 4 window. We can take a maximum of 10 players per team. After the first 10, a waiting list will be established. However, if there are 20 interested players, we will create 2 equal teams.

**Any students that register after the first 10 will be placed on a waiting list**
Registration for basketball is $180
Fee for Jerseys is $30 (If your child played last year in 3rd or 4th grade, they can re-use the same jersey)
TOTAL REGISTRATION $210
(Please do not pay until you have a confirmation email that your child is on the roster)
Games will begin in early Dec. and go through March with a break for Winter Holiday.
Practice days/times are TBD
Game Days are tentative as follows:
3rd-5th grade boys and girls Saturdays
5th grade girls Thursday afternoons
Games will be at Arrillaga Family Gymnasium in Menlo Park
