To celebrate Library Card Sign-Up Month, we are offering limited-edition animal library cards during September that double as a free ticket to CuriOdyssey, a science playground and zoo, on Oct. 5 and Nov. 16, 2019!

Our new library cards feature colorful depictions of some of CuriOdyssey's most popular animals— Faora the Great Gray Owl, Gunner the River Otter, Wolfgang the Blue-tongued Skink, and Frankie the Bobcat. Need help choosing which critter to get on your new library card? Take this quiz

Both new, eligible patrons and existing San Mateo County Libraries card holders are invited to participate. Existing card holders can recycle their old cards at our libraries. Visit any of our 12 community library locations to get yours today.

To visit CuriOdyssey on Oct. 5 and Nov. 16, simply show your limited-edition library card at the ticket window. One library card is valid for one free admission, so remember to make sure your friends and family get their limited-edition card, too.

As an extra treat, zookeepers from CuriOdyssey will visit our community libraries this fall to discuss and showcase their animals! Visit our Events page for upcoming dates and locations. More dates will be announced soon, so check back often!

Don't miss your chance to visit four exhibits, nearly 100 animals and more at CuriOdyssey while unlocking a lifetime of exploration at San Mateo County Libraries! For more information, visit smcl.org/CuriOdyssey
