This November, we celebrate Native American Heritage Month by honoring the enduring cultures, histories, and contributions of Native American communities.

Here in San Mateo County, we recognize the Ramaytush Ohlone—the original peoples of the San Francisco Peninsula. Throughout the month, our students will learn more about their history, cultural traditions, and ongoing efforts to preserve and revitalize their language and heritage.
