PHONE-FREE PARENT SURVEY

We are seeking parent and community input regarding the implementation of the Phone-Free School Act (AB 3216). This new state legislation requires all school districts, charter schools, and county offices of education to adopt policies limiting or prohibiting student smartphone use by July 1, 2026. While the administration held an informative evening discussion for parents in early March that yielded great initial feedback, we are eager to hear from many more members of our school community. We will also be surveying our 3rd-8th grade students and staff, and all collected recommendations will be taken to the School Board for approval at the May 26 School Board meeting. If you are interested and want your voice heard, please take a few minutes to complete the phone-free parent survey by next Friday, May 1.
