ABOUT ME
I am excited to continue teaching 5th grade at Woodside Elementary! Fifth grade is a transformative time for children as they end their elementary school life and begin the transition to middle school. I love being part of this journey with your family. I joined Woodside in August 2017. Prior to teaching fifth grade, I taught fourth grade here at Woodside and in Portola Valley. I also taught second grade in San Mateo. I graduated from Boston University with a degree in communications. I hold a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of the Pacific and a California Teaching Credential. I live in San Mateo with my husband, and two boys James and Beau. In my free time, I love to spend time with them hiking in the Bay Area, cooking, and planning dream vacations or real vacations to our favorite spot in Maui.
