I am a Special Education Paraprofessional at Woodside Elementary School and the youngest of five children raised in Los Angeles by parents who immigrated from El Salvador. I discovered my passion for teaching during the pandemic while stepping in as a "teacher" for my two-year-old daughter when her preschool closed. This experience showed me how much I love helping children learn and grow, leading me to volunteer in classrooms here at Woodside. As a bilingual parent of two children in the district, I am committed to helping every student feel seen and capable of success. Outside the classroom, I enjoy hiking, spending time with family and friends, and watching soccer.
