I was born and raised in Redwood City. My parents, Frank and Angie, have lived there most of their lives and still live there. I have two older brothers, Jason and Julian. Jason, my oldest brother, lives in Sacramento with his wife and three daughters. My other brother, Julian, lives in Boston, Massachusetts. I went to Roy Cloud Elementary School and Woodside High School. I received my bachelor’s degree and my multiple-subject teaching credential at San Francisco State University (SFSU).

While I was completing my undergraduate degree at SFSU, I worked as a middle school physical education coach at Menlo School, in Atherton. I also coached varsity softball at Menlo High School. I grew up in a very sports oriented household, where academics and sports were a priority. Growing up with strong academic and athletic goals, taught me how to stay disciplined and organized. My dad was a Pop Warner football coach, which showed me how much one person can make a difference in a child’s life. That, along with my own experience as a coach, led me to my aspiration to become a teacher.

As I was attending school at SFSU and coaching at Menlo, I would periodically come and volunteer in classrooms, here at Woodside School. After receiving my teaching credential in May of 2015, I decided to substitute teach for one year, in hopes that I would get the chance to teach at my dream school, Woodside Elementary. I have now been officially teaching 5th grade at Wooside since 2016. I am proud and honored to be part of the Woodside community!
