Woodside School District

I have been at Woodside Elementary for many years and I couldn’t be more excited and proud to continue teaching first grade! I love our community and the connections that I get to make each year with my students and their families. I pride myself in giving my students the opportunity to try new things, and learn and grow in a safe, fun and engaging classroom. First grade is the year when they build the foundation for their entire school career and it is my goal to give them the most positive experience possible.

I grew up and still live in Redwood City with my husband Mike, a middle school teacher and high school coach, and my daughter Emily who is also a teacher. We have two adorable rescue dogs, Penny and Louie.

 

When I'm not teaching, I love to hang out with my family, play pickleball, go to pilates and barre class.
