Hello, Families! I am excited to welcome your children to my classroom. I am dedicated to helping students connect classroom learning to their everyday life. I believe learning in context sustains natural curiosity and fosters self-directed learning that extends far beyond school walls. With over 20 years of experience educating and leading children in various capacities, I have learned a variety of ways to reach students. I am committed to my students and their unique needs.

My background includes working as an Associate Kindergarten Teacher at The Nueva School, six years as a home educator, and over two decades of leading workshops and youth programs in the local community, including 9 years leading a children’s choir. I am currently expanding my teaching expertise by pursuing a Master’s in Teaching and a Multiple Subject Credential at Santa Clara University.

As a resident of Woodside, a former board member of the Woodside Elementary PTA, May Day advocate, and a familiar face as a substitute teacher on campus, I am deeply invested in our wonderful community and look forward to partnering with you to support your child’s growth.
Outside of the classroom, I am a Mom of two boys, one in his final year at WES and the other at Woodside High School. I enjoy playing the piano, sewing, and reading. My husband and I have been married for over 20 years and enjoy cooking together, all things aviation (we’re both private pilots), gardening, and finding creative uses for old things.

I am incredibly excited to take ownership of our classroom this year and to build a joyful, engaging, and supportive environment where your child can truly thrive.
