I am very excited to be joining the Woodside Elementary School community!

I was born and raised in the neighboring town of Portola Valley, where I attended Ormondale and Corte Madera. After high school, I earned a Spanish degree at the University of Hawaii before getting my teaching credentials at UC Santa Cruz.

I spent ten amazing years teaching third and fourth grade in a Spanish dual immersion program in Mammoth Lakes- a small, remote town in the Eastern Sierra. I loved building unique relations with each child, witnessing and supporting their growth over the years, and being part of the tight-knit community. My wife and I eventually moved back to the area to be closer to family.

Beyond the classroom, I enjoy many outdoor activities like trail running, hiking, skiing, and traveling. I have a three-year-old daughter, a baby boy, and a sweet old dog who keeps me on my toes in the best ways possible!
