I was born and raised in San Jose, California. When I was in elementary school, I spent most of my time outside with my brother, sister, and friends, riding bikes, roller skating, walking on stilts, and playing hide and seek. In high school I played soccer, softball, and basketball. I went to college at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo where I earned a degree in Physical Education, as well as a teaching credential.

I have been teaching PE at Woodside School for over 30 years!  It truly is my home away from home. I love getting to know all the TK-4th graders and their families. I feel very fortunate to continue to watch the students grow up and then graduate from 8th grade. It makes me especially happy when students come back to visit to tell me how they are doing.

When not teaching or coaching you might find me going for a run or walk, skiing, mountain biking, or most often on the tennis courts. I also love spending time with my friends and family hanging out while watching the San Francisco Giants.
