Please join us for an important Parent Ed conversation focused on Internet Crimes Against Children and how families can better understand and navigate online risks. Space is limited to 40 attendees, so please RSVP at this link to reserve your spot. For parking, please use campus parking or park along Woodside Road, then walk over to the property. You do not need to check in at the front office. 

 

This session brings together Thorn and the Silicon Valley Internet Crimes Against Children (SVICAC) team to connect the broader online threats we hear about in the news to what families and students may encounter day-to-day. The SVICAC team will share what they’re seeing locally and how cases are pursued, while Thorn will translate cutting-edge research on the biggest emerging risks, including grooming, sextortion, and deepfake nudes, into practical guidance for parents and school communities. Attendees will walk away with a clearer picture of what’s happening, what warning signs to watch for, and how to have calm, confident, shame-free conversations that help keep kids safe.
