FIRST Robotics Silicon Valley District Competition
March 14 & 15
Woodside High School

Woodside High School is hosting the FIRST Robotics Silicon Valley District Competition again this year, and we invite students and families to come and watch! The FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) is a high school STEM competition where students from communities around the world design and build robots to compete in a new game every year. This year’s game is called Rebuilt. Each alliance of robots scores points by shooting balls into a hopper and climbing a ladder structure.

Woodside’s robotics team, the Wildhats (Team 100), will be competing in the Silicon Valley event alongside teams from schools across the Bay Area. Please stop by on March 14 and 15. There will be matches happening from 9am to 5pm both days! It’s a great opportunity to hear from students who are building and competing in high-level STEM teams and to see programs from over 30 different schools here at WHS (199 Churchill Ave) for free! Hope to see you there!

We will also be offering shop tours both days of the event led by mentors. Make sure to fill out this form to choose a tour! We will be providing donuts and free buttons to visitors, so make sure to stop by and bring a friend!
