Is Your Child Ready to Babysit?

Give them the skills and confidence to care for younger children safely. Our Safe Sitter® Training is designed for students in grades 6–8 and teaches practical safety, childcare, and emergency response skills.
In this hands-on class, students will learn:

Safety Skills – How to prevent unsafe situations and what to do during emergencies like power outages or severe weather.

Child Care Skills – Ages and stages of child development, behavior management tips, and hands-on practice with skills like diapering.

First Aid & Rescue Skills – How to assess and respond to injuries and illnesses, including CPR and choking rescue skills.

Life & Business Skills – How to screen babysitting jobs, discuss fees, greet employers, and build confidence through role-playing.

This course helps students develop responsibility, confidence, and real-life safety skills they can use when babysitting or staying home alone.
