Woodside School District

 

I am a graduate of both Cal State Fullerton and San Jose State. Before becoming a teacher, I worked as a video producer, traveling around the world to help companies tell their stories. While it was an incredible experience, I realized I wanted to make a more meaningful impact in my community. Inspired by my mom, who recently retired after a long career as a kindergarten teacher, I became a K–12 substitute teacher before deciding to pursue education full time.

 

I believe every student brings unique strengths and perspectives to the classroom. It’s important to me to get to know each student and create a learning environment where everyone feels supported and challenged to grow. 

 

I enjoy watching and playing sports, especially basketball, football, golf, and ultimate frisbee. As a proud Bay Area native, you'll find me cheering on the Warriors, Valkyries, Sharks, and Raiders (yes, I am still a little sad they left the Bay, but that’s okay!). I also love going on walks with my dog, Flower, and spending time with family and friends playing board games. I’m looking forward to a great year. Go Wildcats!
