Thanksgiving Food Drive for Samaritan House Collecting through Nov. 17
The Community Service class is collecting non-perishable items for the Samaritan House, a local organization serving those in need in San Mateo County. The students learned from a recent presentation and virtual field trip that their needs have grown due to the effects of COVID and hand out over 2,000 bags of groceries per week.
Please help our neighbors in need by bringing in non-perishable items like:
FOOD: Canned tuna or chicken, pasta, cereal, fruit roll-ups and granola bars, baking mixes, beans, flour, coffee and tea.
CLOTHING: They are also in need of supplies for their children's closets as well and are in need of items like new socks and underwear, new pajamas, and also, gently used clothing for kids from infant through teens. FIND FULL LIST OF REQUESTED NEEDS HERE
Please leave items In front of Sellman or in the office.
We will be collecting items through November 17th. Thank you!
