2026 Measles Update
The following letter was sent out to all Woodside families on Monday, March 16 highlighting Measles updates.

Dear WESD Families,
We are required to communicate the following health information to our families, especially in anticipation of travel during our spring break next month.
Recent measles cases reported in California have highlighted the risks associated with international travel and the importance of vaccination against measles, a highly contagious illness. Woodside School wants to ensure that all families have the information needed to protect their health while traveling abroad.
Protect Your Family with Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) Vaccines
If your family plans to travel internationally—whether visiting relatives or exploring new destinations—please make sure everyone is protected against measles. Here’s what you need to know:
You can request your family’s vaccination records from your personal physician or online at My DVR (mydvr.cdph.ca.gov).
Free and Low-Cost Vaccination Option
Families who are underinsured or uninsured can access free or low-cost vaccinations through these vaccine programs:

- Babies 6-11 months should receive 1 dose of MMR vaccine before traveling.
- Everyone 12 months & older should be up to date with 2 doses of the MMR vaccine. If not, 2 doses can be given at least 28 days apart.
