I am so excited to begin my first year teaching fourth grade in the Woodside School District! Over the past fifteen years, I have taught in a variety of educational settings, including public, charter, and private schools in both Texas and Southern California. I spent the last nine years teaching in the Castaic Union School District, where I taught third grade and developed a deep appreciation for the impact of strong school communities. In Castaic, I built lasting partnerships with students, colleagues, and families. I look forward to building those same meaningful relationships with the Woodside community.

My teaching philosophy centers on creating an engaging and supportive classroom community for students and their families. My classroom is structured yet welcoming, built on kindness, respect, and high expectations so that students feel valued and empowered to succeed.

I was born and raised in San Mateo, and my family and I are excited to return home to the Peninsula. When I’m not teaching, you'll often find me spending time with my extended family, taking our two dogs on adventures, or enjoying the beach. I'm also a lifelong Giants and 49ers fan, and when football season comes around, you'll almost always find me cheering on my Niners. I earned a marine biology degree from UC Santa Cruz, and I continue to pursue my lifelong love for the ocean. Whenever possible, my favorite way to relax and recharge is by visiting Hawaii with my family.I am thrilled to become part of the Woodside School District community. I look forward to a wonderful year of learning and creating lasting memories with my fourth graders and their families.
